ABOUT ME:

Life in Arizona is beautiful but hot during the summer months. After growing up in Colorado Springs where my late father was a State Farm agent I moved here to make a career with State Farm insurance in Phoenix and Scottsdale in 1982. I hope to make insurance easier for you. I strive to keep your insurance as low as possible for the most coverage, based on your budget.

Yes I rode a Harley for years but lately I have a new hobby-gardening. After traveling to much of Asia and visiting the fruit markets I became fascinated that I had never seen much of the fruit sold there. It occurred to me that we have the heat to grow these things in Phoenix and Scottsdale but only lack the good soil and water. With a lot of digging the soil can be replaced and sprinkler systems are common so I began to build a garden. I update my face-book page with the progress from time to time. I am a graduate from the University of Northern Colorado with a BA in Speech Pathology. I am Husband & Proud father of four talented daughters and grandfather of seven. During the past ten years I have been a Board Member to Global Involvement Through Education to help with educational projects in many developing nations. I am also a board member of Southwest Water conservation where we teach water saving tips in schools. Past hobbies include Skiing, rock climbing, genealogy, ice hockey, figure skating and pole vaulting. I pole vaulted 3 meters in 2008 and won the Arizona senior Olympia meet two years in a row for my age group. I speak basic American Sign Language and am currently studying the Vietnamese language. I enjoyed meeting the Hmong tribal people and riding a motorcycle on the beautiful Ha Giang loop in North Vietnam in May of 2022. My Tik Tok name is Travelingboomer1.
